Hillcrest - Terms & Conditions

Conventions, Terms, Words and Meanings.

The words and terms; ‘WE’, ‘US’, ‘OWNERS’ and ‘THE OWNERS’ howsoever written refer to the Owners of Hillcrest as registered with the UK Land Registry.

The words and terms; ‘HILLCREST’, ‘PROPERTY’, ‘HOUSE’ howsoever written refer to Hillcrest House, Millbridge Road, Minehead, TA24 8AG.

The words and terms; ‘THEM’, ‘PARTY’, ‘HOLIDAY PARTY’ howsoever written refer to individual members of the holiday party including the Party Leader and all guests.

The words and terms; ‘YOU’, ‘Party Leader’, ‘LEADER’ howsoever written refer to person who made the initial booking.

General Terms and Conditions

All contracts, bookings, payments and disputes are bound by UK Law.

From time to time we may vary the Terms and Conditions, when this happens the new terms and conditions will prevail from that date.

Booking & Payment Policy

By paying for all or part of a holiday reservation you are agreeing to our terms and conditions as published on this website.

Your deposit of £150.00 payable on reservation is not refundable.

The balance of monies will become due 6 weeks befire the commencement date of your holiday and an invoice will be sent to you prior to that time.

If your reservation is for a period within 6 weeks of your booking date the the total amount will be payable immediately.

The person making the initial booking is designated by us as the Party Leader and all correspondance will be made out to that person. All further contact with us should be made via the part leader.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your booking the Party Leader must telephone the Owners on 01643 707204 as soon as possible. The Party Leader must also immediately confirm the cancellation in writing, to be sent via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery to the owners.

The day the owners receive your telephone notification of cancellation is the date on which your booking is cancelled and the date used by the owners to calculate any refund that may be due to you.

The following list sets out the charges due when a booking is cancelled:

15 to 28 Days Before Arrival Date          75% of Total Cost of Holiday

1 to 14 Days Before Arrival Date            90% of Total Cost of Holiday

On Arrival Date or During Holiday           100% of Total Cost of Holiday

We strongly recommend that you purchase holiday insurance to cover you during your holiday with us.

In the event of a cancellation by the Owners, for whatever reason, The Owners are not responsible or obliged to find any alternative accommodation for the Holiday Party.

Staying at Hillcrest

You may arrive at Hillcrest any time between 3pm an 8pm (unless otherwise agreed between yourself and the owners) on the start of your holiday.

If your arrival is likely to be delay beyond 8pm on the start date of your holiday, then you must contact owners so that they can arrange for handover of the keys, your entry to Hillcrest may be delay if you do not do so.

You must vacate Hillcrest by 10am on the last day of your holiday.

If fail to arrive by 12 noon the day after the start date of your holiday and do not advise the Owners of this, then your booking will be treated as a cancellation and no refund of monies paid will be made in this situation.

The Party Leader will be personally liable for damages and/or breakages along with the additional costs of repairing damages, purchasing replacement items. The Party Leader will also be liable for any resultant costs the Owners may incur from such damage or breakages which includes but is not limited to; all cost for parts and labour, cancellation of subsequent bookings, criminal activity, legal costs the Owners may incur and any other resonable costs.

The Party Leader and all members of the holiday party agree both to keep the property clean and tidy and to leave the property in a similar condition as you founf it on your arrival.

The Oweners are entitled, at their sole and absolute discretion, to refuse to hand over to you or to repossess the Property (which includes fixtures, fittings, furnishings and decorations) if the Owners reasonably believe that the demeanor or behaviour of any memeber of the party is unacceptable or anti-social or any damage has or is likely to be caused to the property or neighbouring properities. Any such will be treated as cancellation of the holiday and any monies paid will not refunded.

The Party Leader is responsible for ensuring that no more than 5 people will be resident at the property between 10pm and 10am.

The Party Leader is fully responsible for the conduct, behaviour and damages caused by any invited guests and/or visitors to Hillcrest known or unknown to the Party Leader or any member of the Holiday Party.

This website is made available to view on the World Wide Web by In Vogue Media and whilst hosted on In Vogue Media’s chosen servers remains thier property.

Any copying, duplication and/or reproduction of any part of this website howsoever undertaken without the explicit written permission of In Vogue Media will incur a cost of £2,500 per whole webpage page or part webpage.
